Set Up Nora for Android
Your Nora is almost ready to protect you. Follow these three quick steps to finish setting it up on your Android - it takes less than 5 minutes.
Step 1 - Bluetooth Setup
Open your Android's Bluetooth settings and pair your Nora device in seconds.
Step 2 - Emergency SOS
Turn on your phone's built-in Emergency SOS feature - no extra apps needed.
Step 3 - Emergency Contacts
Add the people Nora should alert the moment you need help.
Step 1 - Bluetooth
Connect Nora to Your Android
1. Open Bluetooth settings. Open your phone's Settings app and switch Bluetooth on.
2. Wake Nora. Press and hold the button on your Nora until you hear a short beep - it is now discoverable.
3. Tap to pair. Find Nora Personal Alarm in your available devices list and tap to connect. A confirmation tone means you are ready.
Step 2 - Android Settings
Activate Emergency SOS
1. Open Settings. From your home screen, open the Settings app.
2. Find Safety and Emergency. Scroll down and select it. On Samsung devices this may sit under Advanced Features, then Send SOS Messages.
3. Turn on Emergency SOS. Switch the feature on so your phone calls emergency services the moment it is triggered.
